While the Chicago Bears have announced they’ll be without
quarterback Jay Cutler (concussion) tonight against the San Francisco 49ers,
wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is probable to return from a hand injury.

The Bears ruled Cutler out entering the weekend, as he was
unable to practice last week following a concussion he sustained against the
Houston Texans. It’s unclear when Cutler will be able to return for the Bears,
as the team hasn’t announced a timetable.
Jeffery has missed several weeks of action after undergoing
surgery on his injured hand. Prior to his injury the rookie was one of Cutler’s
top targets. Chicago hopes the wide receiver offers whoever’s quarterbacking
the team a legitimate number two target beside Brandon Marshall.
Beyond Cutler, defensive linemen Shea McClellin (concussion)
and Matt Toeaina (calf) are out, while defensive lineman Henry Melton is
probable to play.
