We found our earlier this week that Dallas Cowboys running
back DeMarco Murray is unlikely to return Sunday when his team takes on the Cleveland
Browns. If Murray is unable to suit up against the Browns, Clarence Hill of the
Sporting News says it’s “unlikely” that the running back will be able to return
for Dallas’ traditional game on Thanksgiving Day.

Hill notes that the Cowboys are playing it careful with
Murray and want to make sure he is back to 100 percent health before he
returns. He adds that Dallas only has one real practice between the Browns game
and Thanksgiving Day, which doesn’t seem to offer Murray enough time to pass
the tests the team is putting him through.
If Murray is unable to go against the Browns and on
Thanksgiving, the Cowboys would continue to go with running back Felix Jones.
