Falcons Injury Report: Julio Jones and Sean Weatherspoon Updates

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon looks like they will be a game decision on Sunday.

The duo missed practice on Thursday, but head coach Mike Smith says they are close to being ready:

“These guys are so close and moving in the right direction that we’ll make a determination as late as we possibly can,” Smith said. “We can do it as late as we possibly can. They’re working hard to get back and we’re hoping that they’ll continue to progress (Friday), Saturday and Sunday morning.”
Jones has a leg injury that he picked up in last week's loss in New Orleans. Jones left part of the game against the Saints, but returned to finish the contest. If Jones was to miss Sunday's game against Arizona, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez would get an increase in targets, and Harry Douglas would likely be promoted to starter.

Weatherspoon has missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Despite being out, he is third on the Falcons defense in tackles.
