New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles was back at
practice yesterday after being sidelined for the past several weeks due to a
hand injury. The speedy back was full-go and it looks like he’ll be ready to
play this weekend when the Saints take on the Oakland Raiders.

Sproles underwent surgery on his broken left hand in the
beginning of Nov. While the recovery time was initially speculated to be four to six weeks, this was later reduced. Sproles is poised to return for the
Saints just over two weeks after the surgery was first announced.
While Sproles was able to return, the Saints were without
defensive lineman Junior Galette (ankle) and cornerback Corey White (knee) at
practice yesterday. Wide receiver Courtney Roby was limited due to a shoulder
injury.
