Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back DeMarco Murray were able to return to practice at a limited capacity yesterday after sitting out Wednesday’s session, while linebacker DeMarcus Ware wasn’t able to suit up for the second day in a row.
Bryant continues to recover from a finger injury. It was initially reported that the injury could sideline the wide receiver for the remainder of the regular season. However, Bryant has since come out and said that he plans on playing through the pain.
Murray missed practice Wednesday due to his foot injury, but he was able to return Thursday as a limited participant. Beyond Murray and Bryant, cornerback Morris Claiborne (concussion), safety Charlie Peprah (foot) and offensive lineman Ryan Cook (knee) were also limited during Thursday’s practice.
Ware continues to be sidelined due to his elbow injury. It’s not clear if he or defensive lineman Jay Ratliff, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a groin injury, will be able to play this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
