Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts and running
back Rashad Jennings, who are each recovering from concussions, haven’t been
cleared to participate in practice yet, while running back Maurice Jones-Drew
remains out due to his foot injury.

The Jaguars are extremely thin at running back at this
point, as their top three options are all dealing with injuries. Jones-Drew has
been out since early in the season due to a foot injury. It’s unknown when he’ll
return if he does at all this season.
Jones-Drew was initially replaced by Jennings, who was then
benched in favor of Jalen Parmele due to ineffective play. Parmele then
suffered a season-ending groin injury and the team was forced to turn back to
Jennings, who sustained a concussion last week.
If Jennings is unable to suit up this weekend for the
Jaguars, they would turn to former fullback Montell Owens to start Sunday
against the New York Jets.
