Just when it appeared the Green Bay Packers receiving corps
was getting healthy, wide receiver Jordy Nelson exited yesterday’s game due to
a hamstring injury. The Packers also lost offensive lineman T.J. Lang to an
ankle injury.

Wide receiver Greg Jennings returned for the Packers
yesterday for their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, and the team finally
had a relatively full unit of playmakers on the field. However, Nelson
sustained a hamstring injury in the first quarter of the game.
It’s unclear if Nelson aggravated the hamstring injury that
hampered him earlier in the season or if this is a new ailment. Either way
hamstrings are never good for players who depend on their speed such as
receivers.
The Packers also lost Lang during the contest to an ankle
injury. With the club’s mounting list of injured players, Green Bay was forced
to turn to undrafted rookie Don Barclay to replace Lang yesterday.
