Jackson and Amendola both missed practice Wednesday. Jackson
was sidelined due to a foot injury, while Amendola has been hampered by a
lingering heel injury.
Jackson was a full participant in practice Thursday and
appears a likely candidate to start Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Amendola
shed his walking boot and was limited during Thursday’s practice. It’s certainly
a step forward for the wide receiver, though he’ll likely remain questionable against
the Bills unless he’s full-go at practice today.
When he’s been healthy enough to play, Amendola has been
quarterback Sam Bradford’s top target. The wide receiver has caught 51 passes
for 576 yards in the eight games he’s played this season.
Beyond Amendola, linebacker Mario Hagan (elbow) was also
limited at practice. Wells (knee) and tight end Mike McNeill both sat out
practice for the second straight day on Thursday.
