After leading the Oregon Ducks to a victory in last night’s
Fiesta Bowl, coach Chip Kelly, who’s set to interview with the Buffalo Bills
and Cleveland Browns today, all but admitted he’s leaving the college ranks and
headed for the NFL, according to NFL.com.
"I'll talk to Dave (agent David Dunn) tomorrow," Kelly said after Oregon's 35-17 victory. "I said I'll always listen and that's what I'll do."
"I want to get it wrapped up quickly and figure out where I'm going to be," Kelly said Thursday.
Beyond the Bills and Browns, Kelly is also expected to
interview with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kelly has quickly become one of the top NFL coaching
prospects. He’s gone 46-7 during his time with the Ducks, but he’s reportedly
even more attractive to NFL teams given his innovative approach on offense.
Kelly has become known for lighting up the scoreboards in
college, and it appears a team will give him a shot at doing so in the NFL next
season.
