Brees becomes the third Saints’ player named to the Pro Bowl
this season, also including punter Thomas Morstead and offensive lineman Jahri
Evans. The selection marks Brees’ seventh to the Pro Bowl, his sixth with the
Saints.
While the Saints put together a disappointing 2012 campaign,
Brees once again posted solid numbers for New Orleans. The 12-year pro
completed 63.0 percent of his passes for 5,177 yards with 43 touchdowns and 19
interceptions.
