Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch missed practice
for the second straight day on Thursday due to his lingering foot injury,
reports Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk.
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch missed practice for the second straight day to a lingering foot injury.
Crabtree points out that seeing Lynch’s name on the Seahawks’
injury report isn’t surprising, as the running back made the list in 14 of the
team’s 16 regular season games. However, he points out that there was only one
week all season where Lynch missed practice on back-to-back days.
Lynch’s absence would serve a hefty blow to Seattle’s
chances as they prepare to take on the Atlanta Falcons in this weekend’s
Divisional round matchup. However, fans will have to wait until today to see if
the running back suits up or not before they get too worried.
If Lynch is unable to go for the Seahawks this weekend, the
team would turn to rookie Robert Turbin. The fourth-round pick has 354 rushing
yards on 80 carries this season.
